On January 8, 2019, JD.com launched its first commercial drone campaign in Southeast Asia. The inventive proposition represents the first of many projects designed by the billion-dollar corporation. JD.com plans to launch future rural commerce and humanitarian to include other Asian regions.
The globally recognized company was identified as a Fortune 500 company in 2016. The accomplishment made JD.com the first Chinese electronic commerce retail business to be included in the list.
Nevertheless, the corporation has been active. Just recently, in December of 2018, JD.com entered into lucrative partnership with Japanese company, Mitsubishi Chemical, a leader in chemical technology. The project was supposed to allow JD.com to enter the agricultural market and provide its loyal customers with organic produce.
JD.com’s CEO and Founder, Richard Liu still remains humble about his honors. Quickly insisting that without his phenomenal staff and business leadership team, he would not have enjoyed his current successes.
