Julie Zuckerberg attended Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, New York, which is part of the City University system of New York for her undergraduate studies. She graduated from Brooklyn College with a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy. After her undergrad studies were complete, Julie Zuckerberg applied to and was accepted into the New York Law School in Manhattan, New York. She studied general law there with a focus on business.
Julie Zuckerberg’s Career
Julie Zuckerberg began her career at the staffing and recruiting firm known as Hudson. She joined Hudson in November of 2002 and worked there for a total of five years, with her employment ending in November of 2007. Hudson is based in New York City on 560 Lexington Avenue 5th Floor in Manhattan, New York.
At Hudson, Julie Zuckerberg was a director of candidate placement. In her role as director of candidate placement, Julie Zuckerberg helped to find lawyers, paralegals, case managers and other legal support staff for law firms that contracted with Hudson. She also recruited legal profession employees for financial institutions and major corporations. Other tasks that Julie Zuckerberg performed as director of candidate placement included educating and informing employees about potential employer benefits, the conditions at work and promotion opportunities. Mrs. Zuckerberg also served as a liaison between employers and employees when workplace incidents arised. She also ensured conflcit resolution was done in accordance with the law and did employee coaching and counseling to prepare them for new employment found via Hudson.
Julie Zuckerberg’s next job was with Citibank. She would work there for six years and two months beginning in October of 2007 and ending in November of 2013. Her job at Citibank was as an executive recruiter for Citi Global Function from October of 2007 until July of 2011. She then served as an executive recruiter for the Citi Global Consumer Bank from July 2011 until November of 2013. At the Citi Global Functions department, her tasks included recruiting executives for positions in the legal, audit and compliance departments, creating job descriptions and looking for internal promotion candidates to be promoted to executive positions. At The Citi Global Consumer Bank, her tasks also included recruitment for executive positions for marketing and internet office operations. She also led negotiations for new hires, selected and hired staffing firms to work for Citi, and explored candidates from across the globe.
In November of 2013 until February of 2014, Julie Zuckerberg worked for the New York Life Insurance Company as a hire recruiting lead. At this position she oversaw the hiring, outsourcing, and job listing creations at the firm. Today Julie Zuckerberg works at Deutsche Bank as an executive recruitment leader. She joined the firm in April of 2014. Her role at Deutsche Bank includes acquiring new talent in various departments for the US based branches. She also works to negotiate contracts for new hires, create new listings based on job openings and needs and advise other recruiting and coaching teams at Deutsche Bank USA.
Dr. Jennifer Walden was featured on Harpers Bazaar magazine listed as one of the top 24 doctors on the cutting edge. Dr. Walden has a waiting list in Texas for a variety of face and body surgeries, including labiaplasty. Dr. Jennifer Walden is the leading Plastic surgery Doctor in Texas for vaginal rejuvenation, labiaplasty and vaginal cosmetic surgery in Central Texas. She also has done many procedures including breast augmentation, facelift and tummy tuck. After she installed the VECTRA 3D system in her plastic surgery practice for breast augmentation and secondary breast surgery, she was pleasantly surprised to get a lot of media attention on this new technology, the first of its kind in Austin. This technology helps the patient understand what they would look like after surgery, which makes it easier for Dr. Walden to help in the surgical planning process.
She moved from Texas to New York after completing her residency training, to pursue her special interest in aesthetic surgery in New York. She was the Attending Surgeon, Program Director in Plastic Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, New York. She was also a Clinical Instructor of Plastic Surgery at New York University School of Medicine. Walden continued to work on the Upper East Side for nearly eight years during which she participated in clinical trials which ultimately led to silicon breast implants becoming reintroduced as an option for surgery. Dr. Walden returned to her hometown in Austin to raise her twin boys and be closer to her family. She has her practice in WestLake Hills, Texas and a satellite office in Marble Falls, Texas.
Dr. Walden still manages to find time from her demanding schedule to do volunteer work for those in need. Dr. Walden also performs surgery on a charitable basis in third world countries for infants and children born with cleft lips and palates with the non-profit organization from her hometown, Austin Smiles. Dr. Jennifer Walden is known for frequently working on celebrities, she has appeared on many large news channels, such as VH1, FOX, and NBC, to name a few. Dr. Walden is also an established author and has co-authored an award-winning textbook entitled Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.
Social eCommerce has opened up the door to many new thoughts and businesses. People who might not have imagined they would reach success have. One of those people is Doe Deere. Doe Deere immigrated to the United States from Russia. She had the kind of American spirit that shined through at all times.
She went to school, graduated, and got a job. Deere held jobs everywhere, but for the most part concentrated on administrative jobs. But there was something about the job sector that simply did not satisfy her. Deere wanted to do more with her life. She wanted to have a job that would allow her to be herself. Deere has always had a bombastic personality, and it shows through some of her style choices. But style was something that was stifled in her line of work before. Deere just could not find makeup that matched her overall look. Every color lipstick that she found was dull and without real personality. In short, Deere felt that the makeup world was lacking something and was sort of dated.
This is when she got the idea for her Lime Crime line of makeup. The makeup would be natural, cruelty-free, and completely outside of the box. Deere started to model her own makeup and lipstick along with some of her clothes. The response that she got was beyond what she expected. There was an explosion of demand, and Lime Crime became a household name. Deere was finally able to let go of mediocre jobs that simply did not satisfy her inner-self and concentrate on something that made her happy.
If there is anything that Deere would pass on to her fans and to anyone who wants to start up a new business is that trying to do something that makes you happy is the right way to go.
